With his new song “In Da Club” 50 Cent has to be one of the hottest rappers on the street right now. Although many fans in San Francisco, CA were hoping to get the 50 Cent concert experience on Friday January 24th, things just weren’t in there favor.
Over four thousand people arived at Kelly’s Mission Rock to try to get in to the 1,000 capacity club where 50 Cent was set to perform. The 1,000 ticket holders were refunded their money after police broke up the crowds of people and cancelled the concert. Crowds begin to pour out into the streets and stop traffic, which began to cause massive back-ups in the downtown area. 50 Cent was not able to even get into the club because the crowd had gathered before 10pm.
50 Cent has also began to expand out in to advertisement deals, as he is rapping on the AND 1(sneaker and clothing company) commerical featuring basketball player Stephon Marbaury. You can look for 50 Cent’s new Shady/Aftermath album “Get Rich or Die Tryin” in stores on February 11th.
