After requesting beatmakers all over the country to submit beats for her third album, Lil Kim also known as Kimberly Jones is about ready to drop her new cd in stores.
Lil Kim’s new album “La Bella Mafia” will feature production by DJ Twinz, Scott Storch, Havoc, Swizz Beatz and Kanye West. The first blazing single will be “The Jump Off”, which was produced by none other than Timbaland. Special guest on the album will be Missy Elliott, Mr. Cheeks (check him out on “The Jump Off”), Masonda Tifere and Styles P. Lil Kim will also appear on the “Chicago” movie soundtrack on a song featuring Queen Latifah and Macy Gray titled “Cell Block Tango (He Had It Comin)”.
Look for “La Bella Mafia” in stores natiowide on March 4th. Lil Kim had a lot of success with her last album “The Notorious K.I.M”, which sold 1.3 million copies in US. Lil Kim was also a shared a grammy award with fellow singer’s Pink, Mya and Missy Elliott for their collaboration of “Lady Marmalade” from the award winning movie “Moulin Rouge”.
