What do you get when you mix Jay-Z with Reebok? You get the new “S.Carter Sneaker Collection by RBK”. Jay-Z just finished putting his signature on a contract with the Reebok Corporation that will give him a multi-year deal to release his own sneakers nationally.

Jay-Z will help in the marketing of the shoes through Reebok’s marketing agency, Arnell Group, as they plan to release the first advertising spots during the National Basketball Association’s All-Star Weekend in February 7-9. In a statement to the media, Jay-Z said, “The collection is and authentic reflection of my personal style. People who check out the ‘S. Carter Collection’ should know that this collection definitely meets my high standards and expectations.”

The sneaker will be released in June of next year in limited and exclusive stores and will include a limited edition cd inside of the shoebox that specifically talks about the sneaker. The shoe price will range from $125 to $150 dollars. Jay-Z is currently enjoying success on the billboard charts with his sixth album in stores now titled “The Blueprint 2: The Gift and the Curse”.
