After raiding his offices and several home’s a couple of weeks ago, police are still working to build a case against several of Suge Knight’s associates.

Police allege they have so much evidence to go through that it will take weeks just to go through everything. Deputy Darren Harris of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department told the LA Times said “There are literally thousands of files on the computers and we are going through every one of them”. During the raids five men were arrested on different charges. Thirty-five year old Deshone Lacey was arrested for cultivation of marijuana, 32 year old Daryl Small was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession, 29 year old Theodore Kelly and 37 year old Kordell Knox (who was a former sheriff’s deputy) and Michael Payne were charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Although Suge Knight was not charged with a crime, he told the LA Times he doesn’t see why the authorities would file charges. “All this, for what?” Suge said. “The taxpayers are the ones that should be outraged here.”
