Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre will star in a comedy written by DJ Pooh called “The Wash.” Pooh directs the hip-hop stars in a film that depicts them as roommates with a connection to a busy car wash. Eminem will also make a cameo role appearance in the movie. Pooh’s Lithium Entertainment and Lion’s Gate Entertainment will produce the film that starts production May 7.
Another Snoop movie project, which can be seen this summer, is John Singleton’s “Baby Boy.” Tyrese and Snoop are rivals in the flick but work together on the lead single from the soundtrack “Just A Baby Boy.” The song is a G-Funk track featuring newcomer Mr. Tan and production by Battlecat. The soundtrack arrives in stores June 12. Snoop just finished the video for “Loosen Control” which will air in May. “Just A Baby Boy” will air in May as well.
