With things on the hip-hop front slowing down, Cash Money is rolling the dice with their first R&B group. The group, Official, is set to release “Telling Our Story” by the end of the year. This quintet wrote and produced almost all the songs on the album. The first single “Anything you want” with Lil Wayne is set to be released soon.
Cash Money CEO, Ronald Williams said he wasn’t really planning this: “We weren’t specifically looking for a male R&B group when we decided to sign Official. They recognized me and slipped me a demo. I liked what I heard.”
