After a couple years of solo albums and some personal squabbles, Dipset is back together and working on a new album. It looks like fans can expect to hear a song or two with Dr. Dre on the new record as Jim Jones recently confirmed they were in the studio with Doc.

No release date has been set for the album just yet, but Cam’ron & The U.N. are expected to release Gunz N’ Butta on E1 Records on November 9th.

UPDATE: In an interview with Deanna Cruz of Hot 106, Jim Jones gave a very brief explanation behind the picture saying, “We did some work with Dr. Dre…a few sessions. So we’ll see what that turns into.” Jones also added that the as-yet-unititled Diplomats album will be released in 2011. So far, roughly 10 tracks have been completed.
