Outasight has generated a buzz with his musical stylings, but his partnership with clothing brand LRG has also opened some doors. With LRG releasing new clothing for their Holiday 2010 line, the brand has released a video with footage of their snow team riders and Outasight is featured in the clip, along with TimBuck2. This season, LRG will be delivering nine distinct themes in two deliveries for the holidays. The first of these deliveries is currently in stores.
IGNITE 2010: From the Blogs to the Blocks will be presented by Vibe.com and the League of Young Voters Education Fund this Friday, October 1. This will be the first event of its kind, meant to unite different young people who can combine forces to “initiate actions,” according to a press release.
Various celebrities will partake in panel talks, including Davey D and many more. Their discussions will range from the role of new media in contemporary life to violence, sex and gender in music. While the event is by invite-only, there will be two workshops on the same day that are open to the public.

Chicago Funk enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that their album, Riding High, will be re-released by Faze-O, for the first time on CD. The project originally made a splash by hitting the chart in the late 70’s, most notably for their single, “Riding High.” Hip Hop listeners may recognize Faze-O from samples, including Unfinished Business‘ “Please Listen to my Demo” by EMPD.
