Busta Rhymes is being sued for assault and battery, reports RadarOnline.com.

Adding to a laundry list of criminal cases over the past several years, the Brooklyn rapper has been accused of throwing a glass at a woman in an upscale restaurant in Beverly Hills on June 26, 2010.

Devin Cooper claims that she and a companion were sitting at a table near Rhymes and another woman at the Mr. Chow eatery. The woman that was sitting with the rapper allegedly began yelling at Cooper that she was “too close to their table.”

Cooper claims she attempted to reposition her chair to avoid any further arguments, but when the woman continued to make comments, Cooper says she asked her to please calm down.

In reponse, Busta allegedly yelled at Cooper,”that’s my sister, that’s my blood!” Eventually, after continuing “increasingly threatening conduct,” the animated emcee threw a drinking glass at hear, missing by inches.

Cooper is suing for assault and battery and is seeking $250,000 in damages.
