Hip-hop, they used to do it out in the park. Remember when no beef went unsettled? Whether it was breaking or emceeing, the battle was done and all questions of supremacy were answered. What are today’s artists scared of? Hip-hop pioneer Vansilk has issued the challenge and is waiting for a response. This is a serious inquiry that can be tremendous for hip-hop as a whole if done properly.
For those of you who are not familiar with Vansilk, he is the man responsible for hip-hop’s first stints on Pay Per View. This was accomplished through “Rapmania” and “Sisters In The Name of Rap.” If the artists are willing he says he’s ready to make it happen. According to him, it’s time for artists to “put up or shut up.” This plan was attempted before. However, many of the artists were scared. He claims the Big Daddy Kane versus Rakim battle was denied, although Rakim was willing. Kool Mo Dee was willing but LL turned down the offer of $1 million. At the time his father was his manager and advised him not to participate.
The show would be called Clash of the Titans Part I. The lineup will consist of:
Jay-Z vs Nas $2 million

Ja Rule vs DMX $1 million
Beanie Sigel vs Jadakiss $1 million
