In the overall music industry, there is no other bigger or more important music awards show than the Video Music Awards (VMA’s). Ever artist wants one of those Moon Men to sit on their awards shelf. It’s a sign of icon status or a sign personal music growth. Either way, so much hype surrounds it that we had to talk about.
This years VMA’s did look like a “Music Video” as they used Pan/Movie shooting techniques to bring the show to life, which also included the fading in an out of the crowd noise during performances.
The most interesting event, we would have to say, was when Eminem, in the middle of his acceptance speech for Best Male Video, stated “Keep booing little girl, I don’t mind hitting a Man with glasses.” The man with glasses was Moby and in response the crowed started to boo, in an attempt to get Eminem to throw some punches.
