Despite what some are saying this is one of many Snoop/DPG songs that is floating on the Cali underground where Snoop voices his hatred for his former boss Suge Knight. The diss on Xzibit stems from various incidents including Suge stepping to Mr. X to tha Z at a very posh Beverly Hills eatery last month and asking Xzibit “Who are you repping?” Xzibit’s answer was “Uh the Liks crew” Snoop and the other members of DPG/Dogghouse/Doggystyle took offence to this and that is one of two major reasons the diss was issued to X.
Also one rumor is that Xzibit and Kurupt did a diss song on the whole DPGC due to Suge’s insistance. No public comment from Dr. Dre as of yet and I would not expect any, as he looks to distance himself from all of this. Look for this to air out on DPG Records September release “THA ROW KILLA ALBUM” featuring artwork of a dog ripping to pieces the Death Row logo mascot.
To flame the fires even more Daz’s label DPG also plans to release a Crooked I album the same week as Tha Row releases Crooked’s first CD which will be the first Row album put out through their new distribution deal with Koch records.
