In an interview with MTV UK, rapper Snoop Dogg gave his thoughts on Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber. The California rapper even revealed that he can relate to once being a “teenybopper.”

“I actually had a chance to meet the guy. He’s kind of cool,” Snoop told MTV UK. “I don’t really have a problem with the teenyboppers or whatnot. Once upon a time, I was a young teenager coming into the game, driving ‘em crazy…”

Both Bieber and Snoop Dogg went head to head on Tuesday, March 23 when they released their latest projects. Bieber released My World 2.0 while Snoop dropped his Malice N Wonderland re-release, More Malice.

Snoop explained that he has no problem facing off with Bieber on the charts and he even welcomes the competition.

“I don’t have no problem with that,” Snoop added. “That’s what the industry was made on…I wish him luck and success, hopefully his record will do what it’s supposed to do.”
