Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Too Short & E-40’s Mt. Westmore Album ‘Bad MFs’ Is Here – But Only In The Metaverse

Mt. Westmore — the rap supergroup comprised of West Coast legends Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Too $hort and E-40 — has released its debut album via blockchain-based platform Gala Music. Titled Bad MFs, the 14-track project is exclusively available through the Metaverse for a limited time.

“You know what it is,” Ice Cube said in a special video. “Mount Westmore — you got the four pillars of West Coast Hip Hop. We are down with Gala Music. We are coming out with that Mount Westmore ‘BAD MFs’ album. There is going to be new music, new experiences, shows, everything that the Westmore got, baby, you gonna get it.”

The project includes the lead single “Big Subwoofer,” which was released last October. Overall, the album is primarily bursting at the seams with ’90s West Coast-flavored bangers, but there are a few slower moments that fit snuggly into the appropriate pockets.

HipHopDX learned Too $hort, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg and E-40 had formed a supergroup in December 2020 after obtaining an exclusive clip of the Serch Says podcast featuring Short Dawg.

“I get a call during the early part of the quarantine from E-40 and Ice Cube going, ‘Man, we feel like we should do an album. Like me, you … it’s E-40, Cube, Too $hort and Snoop Dogg,” he explained. “And I’m like — E-40 and Too $hort from the Bay, Snoop Dogg and Cube are from L.A. and we like the West Coast foundation. We sat there and was like, ‘Fuck it, let’s do it.’ So, we start coming up with beats.”

While no solid date for a traditional release has been confirmed, Bad MFs is currently available on Gala Music here. In the meantime, check out the tracklist below and “Subwoofer” above.

    1. some one will manage to rip it and leak it soon so there whole NFT thing will be as pointless as the photos that some moron can pay 2000 dollars for, but ill screenshot it and have it for nothing. Cheers.

    2. been bumpin it 2 days i dont think these folks now what exclusive means but im sure gala scam cut a check it post it first its available to download like any other release the ogs got paid up front now gala trying to recoup

    3. Anyone who does a whole album with Snoop must know that their career in music is pretty dead lol. I mean, idk the last time I slightly enjoyed a bit of snoop? Doggumentary mightve been the last time I heard some decent stuff.

      1. snoop prob my least fav out the group but it slaps regardless, I aint mad at em dont comprehend them selling out shows but they are at 50_ years old on stage so get it while the gettin is good, aside from snoop they all made more on this album then the last 20 years of albums combined, gala paid em millions for this nft scam crap so its on gala to recoup not the artist on top of shows its like goin platinum in the 90s they all got least a mil for 15 tracks and gala got “exclusive” rights to release the way they did its already on mp3 sites

    4. Album aint nothing special. They dont break new boundaries. Album also sounds dated. Too Short is a crack addict who runs from the police. Snoop to busy with ridiculous reality shows. Cube to busy with so called comedy movies goin Hollywood. E40 not worth mentioning. There comes a period in everybody’s life you should ask yourself do i need to grow up? Can not stay 16 years forever.

Pointless album. Out today forgotten tommorow.

    5. I don’t understand why everyone is complaining. This is a dope group. Better than any new bullshit coming out. At least it’s not bullshit Drake or Jack Harlow!!!!

    6. I’m a fan of all 4 of them but this exclusive album nonsense is a turn off. Release your albums to the world on the normal platforms so the people can enjoy them. Mt Rushmore and Black Star are albums I’ll never listen to. There’s too much free music out there for me to bother with these shenanigans

    7. 40 is the only one who can still bring something to the table out of those four, not hating, just the truth

    8. The shows are concerts should be big. It’s one thing to listen to the music. But its another to energy to see them rocking the mic in person. To be one with the crowd partying and having a good time. But to all you weird haters out there. What music have you put out? What have you did news worthy to talk about? Why you mad cus somebody with more money than you or had a better ride fucked your mom, sister or Bitch. If you can get a woman. You probably dont got no money to buy a show. Goofy white boys like you know black culture. Rapping wishing you was black. Get the fukk out here!!!

      1. Since when does it ought to be a race issue? There’s a lot brothers out there as well, That don’t know nothing about real music and lack the knowledge especially, in this day in age of garbage music.I think this is a very solid album by far for 2022. And I have been a Ice cube fan, since the NWA days. I think west coast best times was the early 90s. Just my opinion
