Snoop Dogg will be staying stateside — at least for the foreseeable future. According to an Instagram post from the “Desk of Snoop Dogg,” he’s canceling all international tour dates.

“Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, including family obligations and upcoming tv and film projects, Snoop Dogg regrets he is canceling all upcoming non-U.S. tour dates for the remainder of 2022,” the statement reads. “He was excited to see his fans around the world and apologies to all that had already made plans to see his show. He looks forward to rescheduling the dates in the future.”

The post promised full ticket refunds are available at original point of purchase. Snoop will also honor his remaining dates in the United States for the rest of the year. The statement ended with, “Thank you for your support and be safe out there y’all.”

A new song sampling Gil Scott-Heron and Brian Jackson’s “Angel Dust” is also played in the clip, which was previously used by The Game and Nas. HipHopDX broke the news the four Hip Hop legends had formed a rap supergroup in December 2020. Too $hort made the reveal while speaking to 3rd Bass rapper MC Serch for an episode of the Serch Says podcast.

“During the quarantine, I got a call from Ice Cube and E-40,” he said at the time. “Over the years, probably more than the past five years, we’ve been doing kind of these old school concerts. It will be either Snoop Dogg or Ice Cube headlining, or it will be me, E-40, sometimes it’s Bone Thugs, DJ Quik. They usually call it like ‘How The West Was Won,’ ‘West Coast Kings’ or some shit like that and it’s always a big show and it always sells out. It’s like 20, 30,000 people — whatever the size of the arena is — it’s sold out.

Too $hort, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg & E-40 Have Formed A Supergroup

“So I get a call during the early part of the quarantine from E-40 and Ice Cube going, ‘Man, we feel like we should do an album. Like me, you … it’s E-40, Cube, Too $hort and Snoop Dogg. And I’m like — E-40 and Too $hort from the Bay, Snoop Dogg and Cube are from L.A. and we like the West Coast foundation. We sat there and was like, ‘Fuck it, let’s do it.’ So, we start coming up with beats.”
