Hip Hop Single Sales: The Weeknd, Lil Wayne & D.R.A.M.

    This week on the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart, The Weeknd takes the top sport, forcing Lil Wayne and D.R.A.M. to #2 and #3 respectively. Elsewhere this week, Rae Sremmurd’s Gucci Mane-assisted track “Black Beatles” jumps to #10 and lastly, Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You” falls to #13.

    The Weeknd Tops The Charts

    The Weeknd’s single “Starboy” dethrones Lil Wayne at the top of the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart this week, selling 88,485 units during the seven days leading to September 29.

    Lil Wayne’s “Sucker For Pain” Pushed To #2

    Due to the aforementioned increase in sales for The Weeknd’s “Starboy,” Lil Wayne’s “Sucker For Pain” is forced to #2 this week after 10 weeks on the chart mostly at the top spot. The cut, which features Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, Ty Dolla $ign, Logic and X Ambassadors, sold 29,528 units in the sales cycle.

    D.R.A.M.’s “BROCCOLI” Lands At #3

    D.R.A.M. and Lil Yachty’s popular single “BROCCOLI” lands at #3 this week, selling 29,384 units during the seven days leading to September 29. That number serves as a slight decrease to the 29,418 units the cut sold last week.
