Kanye West’s raunchy new video for “Fade” was quite literally (and not surprisingly) inspired by porn. In an interview with Vanity Fair, 24-year-old director Eli Russell Linnetz said, “Some people picked up on the Grace Jones boxing images by Jean-Paul Goude. I pulled a lot of references from ’70s and ’80s porn, just on Pornhub. That was less about the imagery and more about the texture of the skin, the oiliness.”
Teyana Taylor, who stars in the video alongside her husband Iman Shumpert, puts us all to shame with her flawless, um, performance.
