Migos fans were probably surprised when Quavo’s inaugural solo album, Quavo Huncho, didn’t even crack the Top 50 on last week’s Billboard 200 chart. But, that’s because he released it too early on Thursday (October 11) so technically sales counted for the week ending October 11.
This week is a different story. Now that the project has been out for awhile, Quavo Huncho has catapulted from No. 66 to No. 2 for the week ending October 18.
Elsewhere on the chart, Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V maintained its No. 3 spot while Usher and Zaytoven’s joint A EP, Shy Glizzy’s Fully Loaded project and Ella Mai’s self-titled R&B album made their debuts.
That’s Better
After debuting at No. 66 last week, Quavo’s Quavo Huncho has bounced back to land at No. 2. Boasting 99,087 total album equivalent units, 5,984 pure album sales and a streaming count of 121,025,561, the project’s numbers this week more accurately reflect the Migos rapper’s popularity.
Quavo Huncho serves as the Atlanta native’s first official solo album. Last year, he dropped Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho with Travis Scott. Upon its release, the collaborative project debuted at No. 3 with roughly 90,000 total album equivalent units sold.
More Like A C-
Despite the superstar name attached to the project, Usher and Zaytoven’s joint EP A failed to crack the Top 30. With 15,387 total album equivalent units, 4,005 pure album sales and a streaming count of 13,584,258, A has made its debut at No. 31.
Half-Loaded
Shy Glizzy’s Fully Loaded project also made its debut this week with 14,446 total album equivalent units, 640 pure album sales and a streaming count of 18,058,121, settling in the No. 35 spot. The project marks the burgeoning D.C. rapper’s follow-up to the 2017’s The World Is Yours, which peaked at No. 37.

I figured because he seemed to be the most charismatic and had a presence about himself that this album might be cool. 3 songs in I was literally embarrassed for this dude. I had to stop. I thought he can rap. I was mistaken. Unless he developed some skills from track 4 on, this is terrible. Stick to the group.
I thought it was pretty dope
not a bunch of replay value but you know… it was cool. trendy but cool
ya you right on flex
Now that Quavos album is out it safe to say that Offset is the new leader of the group. Not a super fan of him but dude has hits! Rick flair drip is a solo dolo track and then taste? Dude is on fire.
Man I wanted to see Ella Mai do like 200-300k first week, because I liked her singles, so I checked out the album, I thought it was like one of the best R and B albums in the last 10 years. As much as they play her singles on radio I thought it had a chance to be huge, hopefully the album keeps pushing and ends up gold or plat. Quavo album was one of the worst rap albums I’ve heard in a minute, I try to give migos a chance but I haven’t heard a complete quality project from them yet, the only song I liked on the album was bubble gum.
Ella Mai album sounds like every other R&B artist does with Dj Mustard and Usher didn’t even promote his album it seems but what happened to Lil Yachty and TI?? No mention
more garbage from the garbage man
In other news: 10 billion flies say horseshit tastes good.
Hip hop is dead- nasty nas
Quavo’s album is fire
