Future and Metro Boomin‘s new release WE DON’T TRUST YOU has fans speculating as to whether they have both fallen out with Drake.
After hearing Kendrick Lamar‘s scathing guest verse on the new track “Like That” — which seemed directly aimed at Drizzy and his “First Person Shooter” collaborator J. Cole — fans across social media began wondering what it might mean for Drake and Future.

The two have collaborated on quite a number of hits throughout their careers and even co-headlined the Summer Sixteen Tour in 2016, following the release of their joint mixtape, What A Time To Be Alive.
However, fans now believe that the lyrics to the title track on WE DON’T TRUST YOU not only confirm that Future has cut ties with the 6 God, but also hint that the fallout was caused by a woman both men may have been involved with.

The verse hears the Atlanta native rap: “You a n-gga No.1 fan, dog/ Sneak dissin’, I don’t understand, dog/ Pillowtalkin’, actin’ like a fed, dog/ I don’t need another fake friend, dog/ Can’t be ’bout a ho, ’cause we sharin’, dog/ In yo feelings, n-gga, why you playin’, dog?”
As listeners began dissecting what they believe to be a pretty clear narrative — with the general consensus that Drake may have shared something with a lover that made its way back to Future — other eagle-eyed social media users noticed that Metro Boomin seems to have unfollowed his “Knife Talk” collaborator on Instagram.

While the idea of a rift between Drake and Future likely comes as a surprise to their followers, rumors of beef with Metro Boomin have been circulating for months.
The chatter was sparked by comments made by Metro late last year in response to the success of Her Loss, Drake’s joint album with 21 Savage. In December, the Young Money affiliate reacted to those comments by unfollowing the multi-platinum producer on social media.

Despite Metro making light of the alleged feud a few weeks later, the friction between the two has continued to grow.
In an Instagram story posted in January, Champagne Papi posted a screenshot of 21 Savage‘s latest album, American Dream. At first glance, the 6 God seemed to be shouting out the UK native, with the caption” “Talk to them, brother.”
The only problem was, at the very bottom of the post, there were shouting emojis that covered up Metro Boomin’s name. Fans wondered if that was an intentional bit of disrespect.
“Violated metro on his own beat too,” commented one fan on a No Jumper post pointing out the situation.
