Fabolous and his wife Emily Bustamante (or Emily B. for short) are expecting a baby girl. The longtime couple shared the happy news via Instagram on Sunday (June 21), which just happened to be Father’s Day.
“Got the best gift ever for Fathers’s Day,” he wrote alongside a sonogram. “#GirlDad.”
Fab and Bustamante are already parents to two boys, Johan and Jonas Jackson. They’re also raising Bustamante’s daughter Taina from a previous relationship.
They appear to be in a better place now that their very public domestic drama is behind them. In March 2018, Fabolous was arrested for allegedly punching Bustamante in the face seven times, causing her to lose two of her front teeth.
Bustamante told authorities she received a text message from Fab saying he wanted to hit her in the head with a baseball bat. He also allegedly said he would kill her, but he “did not want to go out like that,” according to an affidavit of probable cause.

The veteran rapper was indicted for the incident and ultimately accepted a plea deal in February 2019.
As part of the deal, Fab was able to avoid jail time after he pleaded guilty to either one count of felony brandishing of a weapon or threatening domestic violence. He was also asked to complete violence prevention workshops for six to 12 months.
Shortly after the incident, Fab penned a lengthy Instagram post to Bustamante on Mother’s Day, expressing his gratitude.
“Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who has given me the best gift I could ever receive, Family,” he wrote. “I love you for life @emilyb_ P.S. – these selfies are courtesy of Emily & I had to wait til she sent them to me so don’t troll me about being a day late, yall know how women are wit their selfies.”
As a huge Fabolous fan, I’ve absolutely no respect and sympathy for his wife. Try staying with him even longer and he’d never put a ring on that finger.
