Eminem Raps “Places To Go” To 50 Cent On His Birthday

Eminem sent a special Instagram shoutout to 50 Cent for the Queens rapper’s birthday. Fiddy, who turns 42 on Wednesday (July 6), was given a mighty honor as Slim Shady recited one of his verses and claimed it made him want to quit rhyming.

A bearded Marshall Mathers appeared on a couch and expressed his admiration for his former Shady Records signee. After the requisite niceties, Slim Shady launched into a pitch-perfect imitation of 50’s flow on the 8 Mile song, “Places To Go.”

50 posted an equally positive message in the caption of the Instagram post, showing a bit of brotherly love from his side of the fence. “Thank you @eminem,” he wrote. “you know your still the best in the world to me man, I love you bro.”

Check out Eminem’s message above and revisit “Places To Go” below as well as the lyrics.

“Picture a perfect picture, picture me in a pimp hat/Picture me starting shit, picture me busting my gat/Picture police mad they ain’t got a picture of that/Picture me being broke, picture me smoking a sack/Picture me coming up, picture me rich from rap/Picture me blowing up, now picture me going back/To my momma’s basement to live, shit, picture that/Where I’m from it’s a fact, you gotta watch your back/You wear a vest without a gat, you’s a target, Jack/Hustle hard, money stack, sell that dope, sell that crack/Sell that pack, sell that gat, sell that pussy, holla back/50 Cent, too much Henny, man, I’m bent, I’m outta here.”

      1. Some of you just too dumb..there is nothing wrong with a guy(rapper) wishing his fellow hommie who is a rapper as well a happy birthday . Your hating makes you too dumb to execute understanding

    1. He shoulda quit. He’s wack now and ruined his legacy. Anyone who still puts him in their top five needs mental help

      1. Nah you need mental help for being a broke ass online hater and not recognizing greatness and liking wack shit.

        1. Typical Em fan response: “Oh if you don’t like him, then you must like bad rappers”. Fuck off. Obviously he’s good lyrically, but that’s about it. His flow, beats, delivery, and subject matter is weak/repetive at this point. Right now, you seem like a “broke was online hater” since you can’t accept someone’s opinion.

      2. I don’t think Eminem is sitting back wondering whether or not his legacy spanning 20 years has disappeared over some Internet blogger thinking he’s wack. He’s been using the same subject matter for nearly two decades, and people like you STILL go out of your way to listen to/hate him LMAO, which is why he’s still around, you schmuck.

        1. I’m not some internet blogger, I’m just a guy who’s been around since he dropped SSLP and disappointed with almost everything after Encore. He can do so much better, but instead he just throws shit out knowing his die hard fans will eat it up without really thinking about it. Eminem is the guy who dropped three classics back to back and is now dropping mediocre albums. Why are we tolerating this when we know he’s capable of doing better? If that makes me a “hater”, fine whatever. Who needs growth from an artist lmao.

    2. I wonder how the Eminem haters feel when Eminem’s beard attracts more attention and news headlines than their favorite rapper(s) careers in less than a month…

      1. well that’s a downgrade for eminem. he has always been about music or private life controversy, now he’s all about beard while Jay Z, Kendrick, big sean, even lil wayne drop some music.

    3. remember when eminem said one day he will grow a beard and get weird and climb into the mountains when he is done with rap?

    4. When are we going to get that 50 Cent song called Champions ft. Eminem that was supposed to be released on Street King Immortal three years ago?!?!
