DX News Bits: Milkcrate Makes Interscope Records T-Shirt, Fifth Element Releases Compilation

New York-based clothing company Milkcrate Athletics has announced its latest collaboration, this time with Interscope Records. The veteran line created by deejay/producer Aaron Lacrate plays off of the label symbol, and vintage test-pressing logo from vinyl. At Summer Jam, Black Hippy’s Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar, signed to Interscope, helped model the line.

This follows Milkcrate’s collaborations with Mobb Deep, Pete Nice and others.

In other news, Fifth Element, the Minneapolis, Minnesota retail affiliate of Rhymesayers Entertainment has released Collaboration’s The Key. This digital compilation features Doomtree’s Cecil Otter, Masai Bey, Illogic and I-20. Also available on iTunes, a Soundcloud of the work is available.
