DX News Bits: Kid Cudi, Queen Latifah, Curren$y

Kid Cudi’s debut album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day, was such a success that his camp hopes to duplicate the run with this year’s follow-up, Man on the Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager.

Fans of Cudder will have to be patient, however, since it was recently announced that his sophomore effort has been pushed back until November 9.

In other news, Queen Latifah will be recognized for her work at the ADCOLOR Awards. ADCOLOR promotes diversity in advertising in hopes of inspiring future professionals of various backgrounds. Queen Latifah will be one of this years’ main honorees. The ceremony will take place on November 7 in Miami.

Finally, Curren$y has confirmed that Erykah Badu, Camp Lo and Raekwon will be featured on Pilot Talk 2. The emcee acknowledged this during an interview with Royaltee Radio. With no finalized release date, it has been reported that it will be dropped in October or November of this year.
