Drake Teases ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ Merch Using His Previous Albums

Drake delivered his house-leaning Honestly, Nevermind album on Friday (June 17) and the project immediately became a lightning rod for debate within his wide-ranging fanbase.

Being the clever individual he is, Drizzy used some of those fans saying they preferred his older work compared to his new album against them when teasing Honestly, Nevermind merchandise on his Instagram Story on Monday (June 20).

The black t-shirts feature previous Drizzy project covers from More Life, Take Care and If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, but they’re splattered with a piece from artist/designer Richie Culver that reads “Huge Fan of Your Old Stuff” across.

Drake has been a fan of Culver’s work for some time now. He previously posted one of his pieces to social media that reads, “I Wish I Could Sing.”

There’s no word on when the merchandise will be released and sold to the masses. However, the official Drake Related website dropped the camo “Sympathy” t-shirt the OVO boss has been spotted wearing over the weekend with “Summer ’22” emblazoned across the back in orange lettering. The camo tee is now sold out and customers can expect to wait six weeks for delivery.

Drake briefly addressed the initial backlash to the project on Friday night and isn’t sweating if listeners aren’t up to speed just yet.

“It’s all good if you don’t get it yet,” he said. “That’s what we do! We wait for you to catch up. We in here, though, we caught up already. On to the next. My goodness!”

Drake’s expected to earn his 12th No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with Honestly, Nevermind slated to move between 210,000 and 230,000 total album-equivalent units.

      1. Stop with the delusions of grandeur. Kendrick Lamar’s “Mr Morale and The Big Steppers” sold 295,500 in the first week without being pushed and advertised down the throats of every Apple Music customer. Drake should’ve stuck and stayed in his lane of music. He still sold well but compared to almost all of Drake’s previous releases it’s a flop and the lowest selling one of his 7 albums. Of course he’s gonna sell more copies in the long run because he’s continuously marketed by so many corporate (Universal Music Group, Republic, Apple…etc)sponsors that it would a big financial lost if he didn’t sell after investing so much money into him. A corporate plant is still a plant. Without the machine behind him, he would never be able to reach the audience he has now.

        1. 1. Mr Morale still flopped.
          2. This is selling 450k but soundscan is not counting half of hisbsales for some biased reason.
          3. Universal needed drake far more than drake needed them. Drake can go independent and still sell well

          1. Nice try. Drake still got outsold be K.Dot. If Drake went independent I’m sure he wouldn’t sell 1/2 of what he is now.

      2. You’ve been munching tainted carpet or something cuz 210,000 is a hell of a difference from 450,000 lol.
