Drake has toppled another Beatles record.
Drizzy’s guest spot on Bad Bunny’s “Mia” became his 12th song to reach the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2018. The feat helped him to pass The Beatles’ previous mark of 11 for most Top 10 hits in a single year.
Earlier this year, Drake snapped The Beatles’ 54-year-old record for most simultaneous Top 10 songs on the Hot 100. He dethroned Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr’s longstanding achievement thanks to the massive streaming success of his double album Scorpion.
Drake is approaching another Beatles benchmark on the Hot 100 too. The OVO Sound head honcho is now just two tracks behind the legendary group for most Top 10 songs of all time.
The Beatles earned 34 Top 10’s during their historic run. Drake now sits at 32.
Madonna currently holds the No. 1 spot with 38 Top 10’s over the course of her career.

All the records will be broken by him, and his records will also be broken. If this was 20, shit even 10 years ago, I would be rolling with this as something amazing. But now with the ability to stream the same song many times and it counts towards the sales, it’s hard for me to care. The Beatles needed people to go out and buy their stuff, repeat listens weren’t rewarded because nobody knows how often it was played. Music is free/9.99 a month now so its easier to crack the top 10. Even Cardi had 3 in there at once. Also, a lot of Drake’s are him featured on someone else’s song, something that the Beatles didn’t do. Good for him, he’s way more successful than I’ll ever be, but it means very little in today’s climate.
