Drake & PARTYNEXTDOOR Ramp Up Excitement For ‘Some Sexy Songs 4 U’ With Album Cover Reveal

Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have given fans another glimpse at their upcoming album Some Sexy Songs 4 U by sharing the official cover art.

Debuted on Instagram on Tuesday (February 11), the artwork depicts the OVO Sound duo wearing luxurious mink coats in snowy weather, a nod to the chilly winters of their home state of Ontario.

Looming large behind them is Absolute World, the wobbly-looking residential skyscrapers in Mississauga, where PARTYNEXTDOOR hails from (and which is just a short drive from Drizzy’s native Toronto).

Some Sexy Songs 4 U is set to arrive on Friday (February 14), coinciding with Valentine’s Day.

While a tracklist and potential guest features have yet to be revealed, Drake and PND have shared a handful of teasers and hints in the run up to the album’s release.

This past weekend, as his archrival Kendrick Lamar took to the stage in New Orleans for his headlining Super Bowl halftime show, the 6 God released a brief song snippet called “Crying In Chanel.”

That followed an initial preview of an as-yet-untitled track which he also shared on Instagram. Both suggest that Some Sexy Songs 4 will live up to its title of sensual, late-night (and slightly toxic) R&B.

However, during a performance in Melbourne, Australia as part of his Anita Max Win Tour earlier this week, Drizzy revealed that the collaborative project will feature its fair share of “turn up” songs as well.

“It got an album coming out on February 14th with my brother PARTYNEXTDOOR,” he told the crowd. “It’s called Some Sexy Songs 4 U, but it’s some turned up songs for you on there, too. And there’s some personal feelings on there for you.

“So hopefully, whoever you’re with on Valentine’s Day, hopefully y’all can share that experience together.”

Some Sexy Songs 4 U will serve as Drake’s first full-length release since his high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar erupted last year — a battle he was deemed by many to have lost.

It will also extend his long-running creative chemistry with PARTYNEXTDOOR, with whom he’s previously teamed up on songs such as “Over Here,” “Recognize,” “Come and See Me,” “With You” and “Loyal.”

It’s currently unclear through which label the project will be released given Drake’s ongoing legal battle with Universal Music Group, who he’s suing for defamation over Kendrick’s hit diss song “Not Like Us.”

      1. Drake is a chomo so he deserves what he’s got coming to him and NoseCandyNextDoor is just along for the money for the extra cocaine money.

      2. PartyNextDoor has made millions from making albums and touring. He doesn’t need cocaine money. He made a smart choice in signing to drake’s ovo sound label and has had high charting albums on his own.

      3. No he hasn’t. PartyNextDoor hasn’t even went platinum once. Look at his official album sales. They barely gone gold. He’s a blatant ripoff of The Weeknd.

      4. I said he’s made millions from touring and sales. Never said anything about platinum. He has more of a cult following (no one in hiphop and r&b can’t touch drake). Plus Weeknd started ripping off partynextdoor after he rejected drake’s ovoxo deal. He used to be more original before falling off after trilogy.

    1. bruh. Toronto boy here — why Toronto mans always gotta be doing zesty ish??? Y’all said this album is for the ladies and the cover is two dudes in fur coats cuddled up with their faces covered??

    2. So after taking a humiliating L in kdot vs drake. His strategy to bounce back is his & hers matching furs. Smdh. These dude r acting softer than snow bunnies in the 80s. Got they backs bent on this shit
