Drake Sparks New Girlfriend Rumors With Touching Birthday Tribute To His ‘Confidant’

Drake has been known over the years to play the field, but he’s now sparked new girlfriend rumors with a touching birthday tribute on social media to Lilah Pi.

On Thursday (June 8), Drizzy shouted-out the British multimedia artist and his “Search & Rescue” cover art star on Instagram for her birthday.

“More life to the gyal that’s impossible to duplicate. My inspo my confidant my best mate my heart @lilahpi happy birthday,” he captioned an Instagram Story featuring a photograph of Pi.

Lilah Pi reposted the IG Story from Drake with a testament to how strong their bond is. “4L,” she wrote.

While Drake didn’t directly refer to Lilah as his girlfriend, he’s name-dropped her a few times in his raps — most recently on his J Hus collaboration “Who Told You” which arrived on the same day as his birthday tribute.

“So Lilah Pi, don’t make my eye cry/ Let me hold your controller, I’m not one of the controllin’ guys I want you to touch road with the girlsdem, and socialize/ Enjoy your life, your backside is so fit, it opens eyes I know the vibes, I know the vibes,” he raps.

The 6 God also snuck in a Lilah reference on last year’s Honestly, Nevermind cut “Flight’s Booked.”

“Lilah I know it’s getting late, and I’m struggling to let go/ Although there’s distance between us, there’s no place I’d rather be/ I owe you some hospitality, and it comes so naturally/ Promise, I just need some more time/ If you can bear with me,” he pleads.

It’s unclear if the pair are dating but fans will definitely be on edge gawking at possible link-ups, social media interactions and more song name-drops in the future.
