It’s Drake and J Hus’ first time colliding on a track but the OVO boss brought out the London-bred rapper for a welcome home moment at his O2 Arena tour stop in April 2019 just hours after Hus was released from prison.
“If anyone’s sitting down right now, I need you to stand up because we’re going to celebrate one of our brothers tonight,” Drake told the crowd at the time.
J Hus had been looking at an August 2019 release after pleading guilty to illegal knife possession charges, which carried an eight-month sentence.
As for other Drake news, he’s leading the pack with seven nominations alongside GloRilla at the 2023 BET Awards.
