Drake and 21 Savage have unleashed the official music video for “Spin Bout U” which finds them dealing with love at sea. Check it out below.

The Dave Meyers-directed video dropped on Friday (February 24) and has the formidable duo hanging out on a massive yacht in the middle of the ocean. They end up saving a woman who’s drowning and bring her aboard the yacht.

The video then takes viewers to the evening when the 6 God spends time with the stranded woman. They share a word while a group of ski mask-clad women find their way on the boat. With no clue of what’s going on, Drake goes for the kiss but ends up getting a white substance blown into his face.

Drizzy loses consciousness and then wakes up in handcuffs next to 21 Savage while the woman and her crew ransack the yacht.

“Spin Bout U” is track number 6 on Drake and 21 Savage’s 2022 collaborative album titled Her Loss. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and moved over 404,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, giving it the third-highest opening last year.

Drake and 21 Savage had their 12th and third No. 1 album with Her Loss, respectively, and earned a total of 514 million on-demand streams. There was a lot to unpack with the content of Her Loss, mainly from Drizzy who had a lot to get off his chest.

He subliminally dissed DRAM over their 2015 song spat to calling Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian a “groupie” and seemingly shading “Munch” sensation Ice Spice. Drizzy even threatened to reignite his feud with Kanye West by suggesting their 2021 reconciliation was nothing more than a favor to Rap-A-Lot Records CEO J. Prince.

However, one of the biggest talking points of the album was when Drake insinuated that Megan Thee Stallion lied about Tory Lanez shooting her. “This bitch lie about getting shots, but she still a stallion / She don’t even get the joke, but she still smiling,” he rapped on “Circo Loco.”

Megan fired off several tweets in response to Drake’s lyrics, slamming him and other rappers for using her trauma as fuel for jokes and clout.

“Stop using my shooting for clout bitch ass N-ggas! Since when tf is it cool to joke abt women getting shot !” she snapped. “You n-ggas especially RAP N-GGAS ARE LAME! Ready to boycott bout shoes and clothes but dog pile on a black woman when she say one of y’all homeboys abused her.”
