DJ Premier Set To Produce Loaded Lux’s Album

DJ Premier and Loaded Lux are set to team up for the release of a joint album, as reported by AllHipHop.com.

“I was like, ‘Yo, we gotta work on a project,’” Premier says. “We haven’t put it out there, but we’ve been having verbal meetings about doing an album project together, and we’re gonna make that happen.”

No timetable has been set for the release of this project.

Veteran music producer DJ Premier recently confirmed a collaborative album with Royce Da 5’9, titled PHRYME.

The trailer for PHRYME was released last month.

Loaded Lux was featured in one of Battle Rap’s marquee match-ups of 2014 when he battled Murda Mook in July.

Further details from DJ Premier’s latest efforts were discussed in a recent interview with HHDX.

      1. Except for Alchemist, Madlib and Statik Selektah… Everything they release are shitty, no matter how many brainless fans try to sell the image of them being of the greatest producers ever. Premo actually still makes great beats most of the time, but not always. Most material of the Gang Starr discography is pure fire.

    1. Lux hasn’t made a decent verse for an actual I’ve heard yet, should just do an acapella battle rap album.

Top 5 primo produced albums(no particular order)

1.jeru the damaja – wrath of the math
      2.gangstarr – moment of truth
      3.m.o.p – firing squad
      4.gangstarr – hard to earn
      5.n.y reality check 101

    2. Yall bugging. Go to Youtube and do a search for Loaded lux Bars in the booth.

or add this after the Youtube backslash watch?v=8NagLyKRdsg

    3. Moment of truth was my shit but ny state of state of mind was a banger too sorry to say to these kids but niggas now these days suck dj mustard or should i say mus-turd with the crap he puts out. One

    4. Preem is a living legend, and Lux too in his own right, but this shit will never ever come out. Preem likes announcing albums for the sake of announcing albums.

    5. this album is coming out right behind the album he did with m.c. eiht, nas, the collab album with pete rock, and the indy dude from texas..”amp on the beat” does dj premier style beats waaayyy better and probably sells at a fraction of the cost.

    6. I haven’t heard a decent Premiere beat since i donn’t know Game’s Born in the Trap or Luda’s MVP. Correct me if i’m wrong but all of his new shit like the DITC remix or tracks produced for Saigon, Bumpy Knuckles is boring as F, the Phryme single is not any good also

    7. The most overhyped overrated rapper of all time = loaded lux. This guy already got exposed by hollow and mook. His preacher flow is terrible and his bars are really not all that. People dickride this guy only for his battles against miles and the first mook.
