DJ Khaled, Tyga & Peter Rosenberg To Select Forbes 2015 Hip Hop Cash Princes

Forbes is set to unveil its second-annual Hip Hop Cash Princes list Tuesday (March 31).

This time around, the business publication is doing things a little bit differently than they have before. They’ve enlisted Cash Kings alum DJ Khaled, former Cash Prince Tyga, Hot 97 Morning Show host Peter Rosenberg and Forbes’ staff writers Natalie Robehmed and Zack O’Malley Greenburg to select this year’s Cash Princes.

Tyga, Khaled and Rosenberg will replace last year’s judges: Birdman, Fab 5 Freddy and Kevin Liles.

Any Hip Hop artist under the age of 30 is eligible to be included on the 2015 list, as long as they haven’t already been included on a Cash Kings or Cash Princes list previously.

The extensive ranking will include exclusive interviews and features by Forbes.

Last year, A$AP Rocky, Azealia Banks, Wale, J. Cole and Big Sean were chosen for the inaugural Cash Princes list. Several months later, Cole was also selected for the Cash Kings list, with earnings of $7 million.

Forbes is also running a contest. Readers that correctly guess all 12e Cash Princes will win a signed copy of the Jay Z biography Empire State of Mind.

    1. Why tf DJ Khaled? He is a f*@king pokemón that sucks anybody from YMCMB off for crumbs. I can’t believe this is happening! WTF happened to hip hop? He single-handedly messed the whole Miami movement up and turned 99 JAMZ into 99 YMCMB.
Niggas in YMCMB don’t even give 99 JAMZ an interview worth mentioning and yet 99 JAMZ still plays 8 out of 10 records from that damn label. Meanwhile, local rappers and great rappers (like Lupe Fiasco and Eminem) are seldom heard on the hip hop air waves.
