Rappers and jewelry go hand-in-hand. It’s expected for rappers to make it in the industry and cop some expensive, shiny pieces and the trend will never die. DJ Khaled lived up to that mantra when he recently received a new piece from famed Hip Hop diamond man Jacob the Jeweler.
DJ Khaled took to his Instagram on Wednesday (January 26) with a pair of posts revealing the latest addition to his jewelry collection that’s leaving fans stunned at the excessive drip. In the first post, fans can see Khaled posing with the new watch as Drake and JAY-Z’s “Pound Cake” plays in the background. According to the post, DJ Khaled is the owner of a new timepiece called the Billionaire III.
“Thank you @jacobandco @jacobarabo ITS A NEW YEAR ! ITS A NEW WATCH,” Khaled wrote in his post. “I call her Gorgeous SWIPE TO SEE THE VVS CLARITY. The 55mm by 40mm 18K white gold case of the Billionaire III timepiece contains the exclusive Jacob & Co. JCAM09 manual wound skeleton dial with 19 jewels.”
Khaled added, “The bridges, and bezel, like the rest of the watch are covered in 714 hand-set diamonds. Ruthenium blue skeleton hands glide across the dial. 18 piece limited edition. #ALBUMMODE #WETHEBEST ALL CATEGORIES.”

There’s no confirmation of a price that Khaled could’ve paid but Floyd Mayweather bought a one-of-a-kind version of the “Billionaire III” for $18M in 2018. According to the Jacob & Co website, the Billionaire is set with 260 carats of emerald-cut diamonds with a bold cut that enhances “the brilliance of the diamonds.”
He’ll end up pawning it for 42 Big Macs by the end of the year…
