DJ Drama Hints At Lil Wayne Releasing “Dedication 6” After “Carter V”

Although Lil Wayne has mentioned that the Carter V will be his last album, it may not be his last project.

DJ Drama recently shared an image via Instagram, along with a caption that reveals he and Wayne may be back in the studio for another installment of The Dedication series.

Within the photo, Drama stands in between Wayne and Young Money President Mack Maine. The caption reads: “Sorry For The Wait 2. Carter V. Dedication 6.”

While there hasn’t been an official announcement regarding the sixth Dedication, the progression of projects Drama listed has led many to believe it may be on the way.

Drama and Wayne have collaborated on the Dedication series since 2005. Their last mixtape, Dedication 5, arrived in 2013.

Drama used similar measures to promote the album then, tweeting at the time, “”Yup. D5. Tunechi. Dram. YM. Stay tuned. But pleaaaase…. b patient.”

Wayne unleashed Sorry For The Wait 2 last month.  He is currently suing Cash Money Records for $51 million, due to their negligence regarding the Carter V.

      1. Stop trolling. He’s a DJ, mixes & masters, A&R’s his albums, produces (not beat making but producing), and spins records on the radio. He’s a DJ not a rapper so I’m not sure what you expect him to do.

      2. I expect his music and albums to do the talking, no one is a fan of him yelling and talking,
It’s actually one of the biggest flaws of shit he produces.
