Not only does Lil Wayne want to be emancipated from his contract with Birdman and Cash Money Records, the YMCMB rapper now want $51 million, TMZ reports.

Days after the celebrity gossip blog reported Wayne planned to sue his mentor, TMZ is now stating that they have acquired the actual lawsuit.

Within the documents, Wayne claims Birdman owes him tens of millions of dollars for his postponed album, Tha Carter V. Birdman has violated the deal and Wayne is ready to legally address the matter.

Sources close to the rapper have told TMZ that the only way Birdman can release the album under Cash Money is if he fully compensates Wayne.

The site reported over the weekend that Wayne’s concerns stem from an $8 million advance he was supposed to receive when he began recording the album in December, 2013.

Birdman was allegedly responsible for paying another 2 million to Wayne once he finished the album a year later.

Wayne claims he hasn’t received any of it.

The tarnished relationship – which Wayne exposed last month via Twitter – has also led the 32-year-old rapper to request for joint copyright ownership of his Young Money Recordings imprint .
