There was a time when Hip Hop mogul Diddy was making his way atop the fashion world with his Sean John clothing line. The company revolutionized Hip Hop fashion and helped Diddy become the multi-millionaire he is today.
However, Diddy sold a majority of Sean John to Global Brands Group Holding Ltd. in 2016 and it seems like things aren’t going to well. According to a report by TMZ on Thursday (December 2), Diddy wants to swoop in and save the sinking ship over at Sean John.
TMZ obtained legal documents that stated Diddy and his team put up a $3.3 million bid to purchase Sean John’s assets from Global Brands Group who is currently filing for bankruptcy. Diddy founded Sean John in 1998, and as of late, owns a minority stake but looks to change that up with this new bid.
Diddy sued Global Brands for $25 million in February for illegally using his likeness, name, image and persona for their fashion brand Missguided they created with Sean John.
Global Brands has been looking to sell Sean John since May and potential buyers have until December 15 to put in their bids. If all goes well, Diddy will see his brand come back home, and he plans on breathing new life into it.

While his clothing line made him even more famous, Diddy’s wild party life may take the cake. Brooklyn rapper Fabolous recently revealed Diddy had him partying until 7 a.m. on his Instagram Story. According to Fab, he had to tell Diddy he was going to the bathroom to pull his great escape.
“I told Diddy I was going to the bathroom & slid once,” he admitted. “It was 7AM & this n-gga was still turnt!!!”
