“I’m very excited about this follow-up to the critically acclaimed Vol. 1 released in 2014,” he told HipHopDX. “Once again, I assembled some of my favorite classic and new MCs and artists to paint pictures over my productions. The only outside producer is D.R.U.G.S Beats, who did one track on the LP.”

The upcoming album features a stacked lineup of contributors, boasting a who’s who of Hip Hop artists.

Guests include Raekwon, Snoop Dogg, Pharoahe Monch, Fat Joe, Styles P, Twista, David Banner, Boot Camp Clik, Grand Puba, O.C. and Havoc, among others.

“Those familiar with the first album already know what to expect: hard crisp productions and lyricism,” Diamond D said. “There will be 16 songs, so I’m currently in the process of trimming it down since well over 25 songs were recorded. It will be available digitally with a limited pressing of the LP on vinyl.”

    1. Guest list looks stacked. The beats will be on point. Looking forward to hearing this when it drops.

      1. 8. Fly f. RAEKWON, Fat Joe & Fred The Godson. Did you even look at the track list? you fucking retard.

        1. The eyes ain’t what they used to be…no need to be disrespectful tho…you guys who get on these websites kill me…none of you would say half the stuff yall say if you were face to face with a person…not clapping back but speaking the utmost truth

    2. The first one was classic and this one is gonna be pure street hip-hop with no BS. Can’t wait to cop this album

    3. Everybody on the track list is either old or washed up. This is like the ultimate old-head album. I mean this album should be played in old people’s homes and retirement centres. The average age of the guests is like 45 years old lol. I hate these old washed up dirty old heads who are clinging to their past glories. You don’t see 45 year old basketball players still trying to get into the NBA. Well these old washed up rappers need to retire gracefully and leave with someone dignity because all the younger cats are just laughing at them right now. It’s downright embarrassing listening to old head rappers rapping about things that they were doing 20 years ago, trying to act tough pretending – they still live in the hood.

      1. Your new generation of rappers r straight up gabarge. They will not last long because their interchangeable weak rappers. Do not even think about having their own style. The radio will kick your ass off the air and find another new clown ass idiot who thinks their special. 99 percent of the rappers will not have a long careers like those 45-year-old rappers that r able to be relevant because their talented. I bet all the lils will not last this long. Rappers r not built for the long haul like reality shows.

      2. Your OBVIOUSLY a FAKE hip hop head bruh.If you was a real hip hop head you’d show love to the pioneers. If you was a REAL HIP HOP head with REAL love for the hip hop CULTURE you’d know that without old rappers hip hop WOULDN’T EXIST!! And this isn’t NBA this is the MUSIC BUSINESS.Musicians can record music for as long as they have a voice.

      3. You obviously found some kinda magic pill that’s gonna keep you the same age FOREVER. Respect the old heads…They made it ALREADY…..You might not make it to see old head age.And you know you want to…..EVERYBODY DOES!!!!

      4. This is one of the stupidest things I’ve seen someone say. A lot of the OGs are in their late 30s, 40s – Snoop, Jay, Em, 50 to name a few. Stupid comment lmao. Do you think people stay young forever?

    4. nothing groundbreaking here, no kodak? no new kids? i bet no new type of beats either, smh

      1. Nobody in their rightful mind would put these corny ass rappers on dope tracks. Most Rappers today will not last even 10 years. Why? They do not have a true fan base. One day the radio will drop them because they do not have any talent. Your generation only listens to so called hot rap idiots. Rappers are like reality shows they come and go overnight. Kodak black(stupid ass name) will be gone within 5 years.

        1. ?”Listen to this verse wit your imagination
The crowds around the corner all of your fans are waiting
Soon as you hit the stage your feeling the adoration
You giving them that work minus the application
The crowds going up cos the tracks blazing
But nobody told you that you was rapping basic
So they gon outgrow you after they graduation
Cos the music you making ain’t matching their maturation
And the people that used to pat ur back up at the station
They on a different wave you feeling the aggravation
Wishing you could go back study the craft and ace it
Even your A&R knew you was wack and praised it
He ain’t calling you back he found a fast replacement
Sites that used to post your music changing that arrangement
If you studied the greats you would probably rap amazing
          And skills equals longevity” ?

          1. I’m talking about the lil bozos that sound exactly the same. I don’t have problem with him. The clown car will be replace by more so called hot rappers. Hot rappers means wack for adults and classic bullshit for lil kids

    5. I’m a die-hard old school rap head that will listen to old school rap 99% of the time compared to these wack ass rappers that’s poisoning and destroying the culture.

    6. Every time an older MC drops an album, all these arguments about old rappers and young rappers ensue. Here’s the problem, trap is not Hip-Hop and Hip-Hop is not trap. Trap might be some distant relative of Hip-Hop, but I’m not even sure about that. Trap is closer to techno/electronic R&B than it is to Hip-Hop. There is some trap stuff that I like, just like there’s stuff from every genre that I like…but I love Hip-Hop, that’s where my heart is. There are a few rappers that do Hip-Hop and Trap, but not many. My point is, you’ll save yourself a lot of time and energy if you recognize the two as totally different genres and stop arguing about it. Young dudes, trolling is weak and immature. Older dudes, letting young dudes troll you is weak and immature. Peace.
