Cut Chemist is back with a new episode of A Stable Sound podcast, this time featuring Diggin’ In The Crates Crew luminary Diamond D.
In honor of the fourth of May (which, if you’re a Star Wars fanatic, is all about the force), the talented Jurassic 5 turntablist kicks things off with the Stars Wars theme song before getting into Hip Hop history with Diamond D.
“One of my favorite producers/MC is celebrating a new album called The Daim PieceVolume 2,” Cut tells HipHopDX. “We got to do a retrospective of his career and talk about the influences along the way. We bonded over our love for the Bomb Squad, Ice Cube’s Amerikkka’s Most Wanted and Public Enemy, of course.”
The Diam PieceVolume 2serves as the follow-up to 2014’s Diam Piece original, which boasted a roster of famous Hip Hop acts such as Pharoahe Monch, Talib Kweli, Fat Joe, Pete Rock, The Pharcyde, Rapsody, Hi-Tek, The Alchemist, Evidence and his D.I.T.C. cohort A.G.
