DaBaby was accused of hitting on a married woman, who ironically goes by MrsLaTruth on Instagram. Apparently, that wasn’t “La Truth” and the woman is now walking back the allegations.
On Saturday (October 4), the woman shared a post to her Instagram Stories, apologizing for creating extra drama for the chart-topping rapper.
“Apology to DaBaby & his family,” she wrote. “Thanks fans for doing your investigation and getting the truth from this girl who started it all! Pple have way too much times on their hands!!
In a since-deleted post, Mrs. LaTruth attempted to expose DaBaby with several private messages and a claim DaBaby sent another woman to do his “dirty work.”
“I DONT PLAY ABOUT MY MARRIAGE,” she wrote on October 6. “The ultimate disrespect for me is to have someone who steps in your dm who 1) Not only knows your married , 2) was in the midst of doing business with my husband, 3) I ain’t nobody’s BIHHH and 4) disrespect my husband and my marriage !!!
“Some ppl would say you should just ignore it but NAH this is the ultimate disrespect that I can’t look past.”
DaBaby wasted no time responding to the allegation and emphatically denied he did anything of the sort. Instead, he took aim at
“Whichever one of you graphic designer n-ggas took my name and that blue check and created that fake ass muthafuckin’ DM making me look I’m trying to slide on somebody wife, you dead fucking wrong, n-gga,” he said. “And I don’t even talk like that, pick up on my lingo better next time and maybe it’ll make some bigger blogs.
“Don’t use my name to play with when it’s a married couple. Don’t put them type of problems on my plate. I don’t want no trouble with no n-gga wife.”
DaBaby has presumably had it with the internet. The Charlotte native has been under fire since July when he was dragged for his onstage comments at Rolling Loud Miami, which were perceived to be homophobic and sexist.
Not only was DaBaby dropped from multiple music festivals in the wake of his performance, he was also slammed by artists such as Elton John, Madonna and Questlove.

Then, comedian Dave Chappelle got DaBaby’s name trending again last week with The Closer, his latest Netflix special. As part of Chappelle’s bit, he questioned why people were so outraged by DaBaby’s comments but not bothered by the fact he killed a 19-year-old man in self-defense a few years ago.
