DaBaby and DaniLeigh have had a tumultuous relationship over the years, but they were able to put their differences aside as they came together to celebrate their daughter’s second birthday.
Valour turned two on Friday (August 11), and the pair celebrated with a luau-themed bash the following day. In clips posted to social media, the exes were all smiles alongside their baby girl.

After years of rumors, the on-again, off-again couple were Instagram official for just a few shorts months before abruptly breaking up in 2021.
Rumors of her pregnancy began not long after the pair broke up. After a family member shared a photo of DaniLeigh looking noticeably pregnant, the singer decided to make the reveal for herself and no longer live in hiding.
When the baby was just a few months old, a fight erupted between the pair that was streamed on DaBaby’s Instagram Live. In the video, Dani is seen feeding their newborn baby in bed as the pair exchange insults.
DaBaby can be heard calling DaniLeigh “cuckoo” while Dani calls Baby “a fucking coward” and tries to reach for the phone. Shortly after the Instagram Live broadcast, DaBaby issued a statement on his Instagram Story explaining he recorded DaniLeigh to protect his “safety” and “reputation” while accusing her of making “multiple threats of setting up [an] internet scheme” and “refusing to not let me go.”

He also claimed he has “been beat on and yelled at” by the “Easy” star during their tumultuous relationship. However, he clarified that he doesn’t intend to press charges and called the police simply to have her removed from his home peacefully.
In 2022, DaniLeigh opened up about her “toxic” relationship with DaBaby on her “Dead to Me” single, accompanied by a candid interview with Angie Martinez where she discussed the prior incident with her ex kicking her and Valour out.

DaBaby quickly got wind of his baby mother’s comments and decided to set the record straight on a few things, including the real reason behind kicking her out.
“I feel like you should tell them, folks, the real reason why I put you out,” he said in an Instagram Story post. “It’s ‘cause you were stalking my other baby mama, and that shit was affecting, you know, the relationship with my Princess, my big girl.”
Thankfully, it looks they’ve been able to work through the rough patch for the sake of their daughter.
