DaniLeigh is single — again. The Movies singer took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday (February 7) to share the news she and DaBaby have split up for a second time. The breakup comes a couple of weeks after her controversial “Yellow Bone” single and subsequent apology involving her “chocolate man” caused an uproar.
“Officially single,” she wrote with a black heart emoji attached.

The news of the split comes after Dani made a cameo in DaBaby’s “Masterpiece” video last month. The visual featured DaBaby showing off numerous vehicles he received as gifts for his birthday in December 2020 and Dani in various scenes riding shotgun and even gifting him a birthday cake.

The pair’s on-again, off-again relationship originally dates back to March 2020 when Dani got into a back-and-forth on Twitter with the mother of DaBaby’s son. Not long after, the two collaborated for the single “Levi High” before later going Instagram official in late 2020.
At the start of their relationship, DaniLeigh suggested it was the first time she received “hate” in the industry, tweeting, “I never had haters til I dated you.”
