Curren$y has announced the release date for his upcoming collaborative EP with producer Harry Fraud, titled The Marina.
Just a few days after revealing the pair had a project on the way, the veteran NOLA rapper hit Instagram to announce the EP will arrive on May 30, putting to bed rumors the project might drop on April 20.
The Marina will serve as Curren$y’s third project of 2018, following his previously released mixtapes The Spring Collection and Parking Lot Music, which he dropped in February and March respectively.
The two projects were intended as appetizers for his upcoming studio album Back At Burnie’s — a sequel to his 2011 LP Weekend at Burnie’s — which was set to drop on March 16 before its delay.
In the meantime, check out Fraud and Curren$y’s 2012 Cigarette Boats EP and scroll down for the new project’s cover art.

Would love to hear $pitta collab with Cardo,Madlib,Knxwledge,Dam-Funk and DJ FreshX3(From The Bay) on EPs or Album some day
“..Act like you don’t know Spitta X Cardo money & the power and some more shit!” – Billy Ocean ( The Spring Collection)
Dreams do come true. You’re welcome.
I know about those joints so you arent helping too much..im saying that i would love a full collab tape from them….
Currensy and dam funk would be a dream team combo…I wanna hear that now XD
Cover is far from good tho Harry was good asf on Blue Chips 7000 and I can’t wait for Spitta to come out with more flames
Dude can rap, but he puts out WAY too much shit. Less is more fam. Ease back a bit on the output.
Nah, I like how Spitta does this. Most are hits with a few misses but he has consistency as far as fresh music. He is his own boss.
Telling a hustler to slow down? How much of his catalogue has you supported and purchased tho? we’ll wait…
EXACTLY! I was going to write the same thing
Curren$y is an exception since most of his material is usually spot on. He ain’t like those lame ass trap rappers that say they make m!xt@pes in 30 minutes and it shows.
i see where you are getting at. it’s good to make porudct, art and the like but you have to make people miss you. it makes the material more awaited since the person hasn’t been seen and he/she are missed. it’s just like when you don’t see that one friend you haven’t seen in years. it’s like you catch on old times and you rekindle the friendship. it’s like that with music and artists. it’s good to be missed.
I was just thinking about how in my eyes 2012-2014 Wiz, Dza, Curren$y, and Bronson. And the work they did with Fraud and Alchemist, was like the best time to be a fan for me. Curren$y really the only one who HELD that shit up though in my opinion.
Should have known when I saw those Jets on the cover this would be one to watch.
more shitty rhyming on great beats
$pitta a Bo$$
Spitta and Fraud did it again. Great project
