Cooler heads prevailed as the Three 6 Mafia and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony Verzuz battle got through the finish line shaking hands but not without a dose of chaos and drama.
Less than an hour into the December 3 battle, Bizzy Bone felt like he was being mocked and disrespected by Three 6 Mafia and launched a bottle at their side which set off a brief brawl before it was contained.
Crunchy Black sat down with VladTV this week and he hypothesized that Bizzy Bone hurled the bottle to kick off the fight out of desperation and to serve as a distraction since Bone Thugs was losing the first half of the battle.
“Bizzy Bone got frustrated and mad after the fourth song was played because in real life we was killing them. They kinda set it up and everybody was riding with them but at the same time, ‘Why was they doing this?’ Because Three 6 Mafia got hits and they crunk hits…. Just because you were signed to Eazy, don’t mean it’s gonna be easy.’
However, Crunchy Black did refer to the Ohio-bred Hip Hop legends as “family now.”
