Chris Brown Receives Joint Custody Of Daughter

Chris Brown has settled his custody battle with Nia Guzman over their daughter, TMZ reports.

The singer has been granted joint custody of their child, whose name the court ruled is Royalty Brown. The father will get her 12 days per month and not have required supervised visitation, as Guzman requested.

Brown will have to pay the mother $15,000 in back support and $2,500 per month in child support. He will pay for his daughter’s schooling, health insurance, medical bills and childcare.

Brown’s required drug test came back positive for marijuana and codeine, but the site says he has a prescription for both.

The singer responded to the settlement on Twitter.

“Court went great today,” he says. “Glad this all worked out.”

Brown has named his forthcoming album Royalty after his daughter. The project does not have a release date.

    1. I feel bad for the daughter. She will have to witness brown’s probable alcohol fueled rages and beatings from chris brown. She should not have to deal with that shit. Drake can love anyone that respects him.

      1. How would you know that would happen? You’re not with them 24/7, so you can’t make those phony accusations. Chris could be a good father. Also, Aubrey only loves one person, himself.

      2. Chris Brown has shown enough to media to know not to trust this sadistic bitch. Are u with them 24/7? If chris can’t even get along with his fans and women, I don’t see how he can be a good father to her. Thank god for child authorities and her mother.

      3. So you’re going by what you cherrypick from the media. You’re a hypocrite. He clearly gets along with his fans and women and hasn’t done any wrong in a while. He could be a good father.

      4. Dan you obviously dont have children of your own. As a father, I would do anything for my daughter and sons. Having children changes the way you operate and how you deal with things around them. So yeah he may continue on his social media tyrads but that doesnt mean he’ll treat his daughter badly. By looks and accounts he is and has been a great father since she’s been in his life. Just mind your own brother. Let this man live.

    2. @Name and Dan…eminem did a great job with his daughter…all the odds were stacked against him but he did it…instead of judging pray for the brother to do good

    3. Soooo why does he still have to pay 2,500 in child support. He has joint custody and is getting her half the time. Stop blessing these bums snitches sheesh. Its all on the agenda to keep the black race pathetic.
