Chief Keef Facing Possible Jail Time Due To Neighborhood Move

Before even facing a judge on January 28 due to a probation violation case, Chicago rapper Chief Keef will appear in court tomorrow (January 2) for another violation. According to AllHipHop.com, this court appearance stems from a move the rapper made from his old neighborhood to the more affluent Northbrook neighborhood.

The move reportedly did not go over too well with Keef’s probation officers who were not made aware of the young rapper’s move to Northbrook.

Following tomorrow’s court appearance, Keef will appear in court later in the month on probation violation charges that stem from an incident in which the Interscope Records signee held a gun while at a gun range during an interview with Pitchfork Media.

Despite the numerous legal issues and other ill occurrences that plagued Chief Keef throughout last year he still managed to release his debut album, Finally Rich, in December.

    1. trashy raps can’t even do it well. They all sound the same & are garbage. All day everyday. he is no artist just a dude saying a lot of nothing.

      1. cuz he’s a kid and they make mistakes and he had no priors at the time. it won’t be the same now that he has 2 breaches

      1. ace hood aint done shit!! yea he dropped 3 albums but hes going broke, he even has a song talking about it and how he has to borrow money from khaled

      2. Just because you got the record label’s finger up your ass doesn’t mean jack diddly here. You get publicity for your first album, then you fade into obscurity in the second and third. Just look at Ace Hood.

    2. This kid has music by the balls and is too busy being an idiot, not so much in this story, but every story about Keef is negative. With the way music is now and social media he has potential to be huge instead he’ll fade away because he’s immature and trying to be to gangster. Straight stupid

      1. Problem is, he’s only 16 (or 17 or whatever..). Give a 16-year old with his upbringing a gun, millions of dollars and bad influences and he will do stupid things. He still needs good people around him to help manage his success and avoid the mistakes so many are making. I wish him the best tho

      1. he’s not rich he’s probably worth less than a mill. if he plays his cards right he could be rich but how much you wanna bet he’s blowing cash on strip clubs, dope and pink rhinestoned backs

    3. If you take fat chop away from this nigga-he done.I listened to this niggas shit n mixtapes and he’s awful on the mic.Dont even know what he talkin bout half the time just rambling nonsense bout shootin niggas down. This kid gonna be done in a year.

    4. never wish jail on anyone but this nigga music is trash and we dont need him representing anything in this hip hop culture

    5. of course the system wants him to stay on his crime infested block..and you clowns are ok with that because you dont like his music

      1. Wtf is wrong with you clowns? This nigga ain’t fucking Rodney King. He broke probation, and is being punished. That’s how life works, regardless of your skin color. You’ll see when you grow up.

      2. R.O.F.L at that statement (This nigga ain’t fucking Rodney King) Exactly he fucked up that’s life ..Why the fuck should he get a pass, because he got a record deal and promotes some dumb coonery music for the masses

    6. Niggas don’t even kno keef and want the nigga in jail, his music anit the best, but he got a few nice songs, I wud never wish county jail on no one real talk that’s hoe shit

      1. i agree sort of anyone that’s been to jail wouldn’t. he’s almost 18. if he’s sentenced close enough to his birthday he will go to adult

      2. So you wouldn’t wish for a man that touched your children to go to jail? A rapist? A serial killer? Goddamn this site is full of idiots.

    7. I don’t agree with this nigga’s subject matter but I wish him the best. But he’s gotta stop with this nonsense for he ends up screwing up his life. Ain’t nobody wanna see a young black male at 16 go to jail over nothing unless they a hater or a racist. niggas gotta stop doin this clown shit though.

    8. How can you defend this punk,im from chicago i see how the streets are,he has alot of teenagers around here actin even more reckless,he has a voice that they”ll listen to and he uses it to bring our city more violence,FUCK CHEIF KEEF

      1. STOP LISTENING TO THE BULLSHIT RAP PUSHED BY ALL THE WHITE OWNED RECORD LABELS WHO LOVE TO PROMOTE THE FAKE PABLO RAP STORY’S

    9. This is being reported wrongly here. Northbrook is not a “neighborhood” of Chicago. It is its own suburb, outside of the city.

    10. “You get publicity for your first album, then you fade into obscurity in the second and third. Just look at Ace Hood”

Someone like Az is obscure. Ace is known. He’s just not selling big numbers. Neither is Game.

    11. Oh no, he moved…lock him away and toss the key, lol @ the american legal system..dudes is shooting up schools, movie theatres and this is what they spend time on.

      1. we’ll see how known chief keef and ace hood are after 20 years in the game

we already know keef gonna be dead or in jail before he turns 21

    12. “we’ll see how known chief keef and ace hood are after 20 years in the game”

There’s no reason for them to have to reach 20 years. That’s odd you would assume they would need that type of longevity.
