Last year, news broke that Soulja Boy had begun dating Diamond, member of the short-lived group Crime Mob and former beau to fellow crunk artist Lil Scrappy. Now, according to HipHopWired, it appears as Soulja Boy and Lil Scrappy’s shared romantic history has come to a head, as the two rappers exchange insults on Twitter.
Although it is unclear how the spat first began – Soulja Boy’s original Tweets have since been deleted – the two rappers’ feud apparently started with the “Crank Dat” rapper taunting Scrappy over their mutual history with Diamond. HipHopWired managed to take screen pics of the Tweets in questions before they were deleted.
Scrappy responded by clarifying that his issues with Soulja Boy don’t stem from the rapper’s romantic history with Diamond. However, the “Head Bussa” rapper didn’t mince words, claiming that Soulja Boy “take[s] pipe” and threatening to “smack the shit” out of him the next time they cross paths.
