Chance The Rapper & Postmates Team Up For SocialWorks Charity

Chance The Rapper and Postmates are teaming up on a philanthropic effort to help support his non-profit SocialWorks.

Between January 29 and February 1, $1 will be donated to the organization from every order placed from a list of “Chance’s Chicago Favorites,” which includes Chipotle, 7-Eleven, and Chi-Town staple Harold’s Chicken.

“We’re teaming up with Chance The Rapper to make a positive impact on the community by raising funds for SocialWorks,” Postmates announced on their blog.

The popular delivery service promises to donate up to $10,000.

SocialWorks drives to help and inspire Windy City youth in becoming leaders of the future with initiatives such as New Chance: Arts & Literature Fund and OpenMike.

Last October, SocialWorks pledged a $100,000 grant to 20 Chicago public schools over the next three years.

    1. newsflash generally poor people cant afford chauffeurs or delivery from 7/11 mickey ds, starbucks & to move 10-100s of pounds miles on demand in minutes actually costs around $10 if you want the human providing the labor to be paid a legal wage, yet all these “companies” somehow charge 5-8$ so what does labor get after the app takes it 50-90% cut? if you’re bad at math its $2-4 GROSS now subtract gas, depreciation, wear tear, risk & you just used unpaid labor or labor paid 1970s wages in 2019 how disruptive lol

    2. Chance is a Democrat tool and Obama’s latchkey kid. His non-profit actually is putting lots of nice cash in his pocket. How much is he using to actually help his cause?
