Bun B, Too $hort & Paul Wall Remember Pimp C On His 41st Birthday

    Its been seven years since the death of Pimp C. The UGK member and Southern Hip Hop pioneer would have been 41-years-old today (December 29).

    To commemorate Pimp C on his birthday, Montreality has released a video filled with footage of his friends remembering his life and the moments they shared.

    The six-minute-montage includes commentary from Too $hort, Slim Thug, Paul Wall, DJ Whoo Kid and Bun B. There are also clips of the deceased rapper speaking.

    In an interview with Cheddar DVD, Pimp C speaks on staying positive.

    “I don’t say never anymore you don’t know what’s in store,” he says. “What I will say is this: I’m going to stay positive out here. I’mma do the right things. I’m not going to make no moves to put myself in the cross, where these people can just cross me out and be right.”

    2. I remember the first time I heard UGK on a vacation in North Carolina back when you actually would hear different artists you never knew about on the radio back in 1992. Dudes just had so much flavor, and Pimp C was something else, being able to produce, rap, and spit that real shit. RIP to the legend. Tell me something good, baby.
