Bow Wow has seemingly confirmed a relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith‘s niece, Jade Pinkett – though it seems like they may have quietly been together for some time.
Both Bow Wow and Jade shared a photo together to their respective Instagram Stories, dressed to the nines while celebrating the new year. Jade, however, added an additional caption that seemed to speak toward a longer time together: “New Years, Yr 2 for the books”
Bow Wow was previously engaged to Erica Mena, and shares a daughter with Joie Chavis as well as a son with model Olivia Sky.

In a since-deleted Instagram post on Wednesday (January 3), the rapper and actor wrote: “I WISH MY BABY MOTHER GOT RAN OVER BY A MACK TRUCK [crying face emoji].”
Clarifying that his statement was intended for Sky and not Joie Chavis, with whom he shares a 12-year-old daughter, he added: “NOT JOIE THE BUM BITCH YALL DONT [KNOW].”
Bow Wow received huge backlash for making the comment, which was reposted on Instagram by The Shade Room, with one person saying: “That’s disgusting and very ignorant thing to say about the mother to your kid!!”
Another critic said: “Why would you say that about your child mother. Their primary caretaker ? SICK.”

Someone else said: “To wish harm on your child’s mother is some of the sickest shit. Like this is weak af. No cool points trying to be funny.”
Comedian and YouTuber Funny Marco also remarked: “It’s been 3 days 3 hours and 6 minutes and to the New years @shadmoss what’s goin on.”
Lil Mama also called out the Like Mike star for his malicious comment, writing: “*I Wasn’t in my Right Mind When I Wrote This. They all Bums [crying face emojis] Nah, Happy New Year. @shadmoss Grow up, deadass bfr.”
Bow Wow (real name Shad Moss) addressed the criticism in the comments section, but he didn’t seem too flustered by the tongue-lashing.

“BYRON IN REAL LIFE! [crying face emoji],” he wrote in reference to his character in the film Madea’s Big Happy Family.
In the 2011 Tyler Perry film, Moss played Byron, whose ex and mother of his child, Sabrina (played by Teyana Taylor), uses their son’s child support money and supplies for herself.
Olivia and Bow Wow’s son Stone was born in July 2020. After initially claiming the child as his, the ex-106 & Park host later denied that he was the father until the courts ruled that Stone is indeed his son.
