Boosie Badazz isn’t someone who minces his words, and he’s now shared that he believes if historical Black leaders such as Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. were here today, then they would be shunned from society.
The outspoken Baton Rouge rapper took to Instagram this week to give his perspective on both civil rights leaders, along with others important figures and how their collective ideologies would measure up in present-day times.
“Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Dick Gregory, all them people who was speaking about certain stuff, that go on with Black people, with everything, if they spoke that today, they would be outcasts,” Boosie said. “They wouldn’t be great as they was back in the day. If they had voices now, they would be outcasts.”
He continued: “2Pac would be an outcast. Malcolm X speaking up for Black [integrated] with all races across the world, he would be an outcast. Martin Luther King Jr., all these people would be outcasts in today’s world. Anybody who speaks against what the government and everybody else is doing, they would be labeled an outcast. Anybody who says things wrong would be labeled an outcast.”
“Bernie Mac would not be able to be a comedian. Bernie Mac would not be able to be a comedian in today’s day. I’m telling you real shit.”
This is not the first time Boosie has made specific statements about celebrated figures in the Black community.
In September 2021, he was upset after he found out people could stream his film My Struggle online for free. At the time, Boosie took his frustrations to Twitter and brought Martin Luther King, Jr. into it, claiming the late civil rights activist would be upset people are making white people more money.
“MARTIN LUTHER KING would be pissed off right now to see y’all mfs not supporting black excellence and buying my movie but going to YouTube and other websites making the WHITE MAN RICH!” he wrote previously. “UncleTomAssN-ggas.”
In December 2022, Boosie slammed Kanye West for making disparaging comments about Civil Rights icon Rosa Parks.
According to AllHipHop, West called Parks a “plant” during a previous Clubhouse conversation, adding that only Jesus Christ can be called a hero.
“All of these heroes man – it’s only one. That’s Jesus Christ. You’re gonna find out something about MLK, something about JFK, something about Malcolm, Rosa Parks. We know Rosa Parks was a plant,” Kanye argued at the time.
Boosie took to Twitter shortly afterwards and let the world know that he was not going to stand for any slander aimed at the late civil rights icon.
“NOW ROSA PARKS. HE REALLY HATE BLACK PEOPLE WITH A PASSION#Fuckukanye U SICK AF,” Boosie wrote in all caps.
In a follow-up tweet, he wrote: “ITS A SHAME THIS MAN IS REALLY TRYIN TO TAKE AWAY ALL BLACK GLORY#itssad#georgefloyd#slaveryachoice#whitelivesmatter#rosaparks WHOS NEXT MARTIN LUTHER KINGBLACKS SHOULD DO THIS MAN LIKE THE JEWS DID HIM NOW HES COMING FOR BLACK HISTORY.”
In addition to Boosie, Beanie Seagal previously called Roc-A-Fella co-founder Damon Dash “the Malcolm X of Hip Hop” due to all the care he’s shown his artists over the years.
During a previous interview with the Personal Party Podcast, Beans and Freeway were asked to describe Dame with one word and both Roc artists shared nothing but high praise for their former boss.
Freeway said Dame was loyal, while Beanie stated he went hard for everyone under Roc while making the comparison to the late civil rights leader.
“Dame would be like the Malcom X of Hip Hop,” Beanie said at the time. “No bullshit, ‘cause I’m trying to think of one word. You can’t describe Dame with one word. But when I see Dame, he like X. He like Malcolm.”
Boosie on one with this take. Don’t know what the fuck he is talking about. It was harder for them back then. Both of them got murdered along with many other black leaders because the government made it happen, but he thinks it would be harder today? FOH. They literally infiltrated black organizations like the Panthers and destroyed them from the inside out. Pac would have still been Pac because he had charisma and knew how to make good music. It’s why people still talk about him today.
malcolm x identified as muslim he would have made an enormous battle cry after 9/11 and martin luther king would have based civil rights human rights on god and christianity which is a big mistake because a lot will have been left behind people have sacrificed their lives for these causes but here we are 2023 same problems people think more racism is the answer it ain’t racism will always exist……………………………………………………………………………….
I’m telling yall, ignorance is a career chioce now. Anything for a dollar. Money os their god now.
Why does this site have such a hard on for Boosie?! Seriously, he’s ignorant as fuck. But yet every article on this site is about him or what he thinks about (insert topic). Can you guys give it a rest with him already?
The same reason you do I guess

This is the only place I ever hear Boosie mentioned. It’s really weird.
Now this is something I agree with. Those 2 Giants would have been so condemned for speaking out on black power and equal rights. Nowadays people call Sharpton a sellout because he “shows up everywhere”. Be the same lames that would be like how come Sharpton don’t ever show up….
This is a classic example of a person’s lips moving and nothing of substance is coming out. Carry on!!!
He can not even correctly pronounce “integrated”.
Can somebody shoot this ass cancer ? Preferably in the ass ? 🍑
I’m no fan of boosie but he kinda has a point. We promote degeneracy in our community now. It’s not what Malcolm X or MLK stood for. They would be called sellouts and uncle Tom’s now.
@Bigger Boosie IS the degeneracy you speak of . That he has the audacity to speak on Malcolm or MLK as if he lives a life worthy of even mentioning their names is the problem.
I’m so tired of these degenerate ‘hood sambos speaking for the rest of us.
