Bobby Shmurda has made the wild claim that JAY-Z‘s Roc Nation is behind the rumors that Diddy and Meek Mill‘s relationship goes beyond being friends and collaborators.
Speaking on The Danza Project, Shmurda, who used to be managed by Roc Nation, suggested that the company planted the gay sex rumors following Meek’s departure from Roc Nation in 2022.

“I’ma tell you what’s going on with Meek. I left the team that Meek was on. Meek left that team. [If] you leave that team, they come for you,” he said.
“It’s like a relationship with these labels. It’s like leaving a girl with a lot of power. She’s gonna try to make your life a living hell. She’s like, ‘We own the internets, we’re gonna spread all the rumors about you. I’m gonna pay for 3,000 comments making jokes.”

Shmurda then claimed that he, too, has been targeted by such a smear campaign: “They tried to call me gay. I fuck the most bitches ever. Like, come on, for real? I’m not even mad at them doing it; it be the n-ggas that believe it.”

It’s worth pointing out that the speculation surrounding Meek Mill and Diddy’s relationship actually stems from a sexual assault lawsuit filed against the latter by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones earlier this year.
In it, Rod claimed that the Bad Boy boss “informed [him] that he had engaged in sexual intercourse” with “a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.”

Fans were quick to connect the dots and identify the unnamed rapper as Meek, but the “Dreams and Nightmares” MC quickly shut down the allegations and called them “sick.”
He added: “I’m from Philly I don’t do coke or freaky ass molly … nobody won’t even offer me coke because I’m that heavy …. No man or watt would ever approach me about gay activity and the whole place don’t get flipped … woke up seeing this on every blog like they know I’m coming! Lol.”
The speculation has been further fueled by various viral videos, including one of Diddy calling Meek “daddy” as he relaxes in a swimming pool.
However, the Philly native has maintained that his and Puffy’s relationship is purely platonic, even offering $100,000 to private investigators to clear his name regarding the mogul’s alleged “freak off” sex parties, which are at the heart of his sex trafficking and racketeering case.

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter) last month: “I wanna hire an investigative team 100k cash to find out every specific detail involving meek mill name to ‘Diddy’ Case…. I also want them to look at who is powering the media involving ‘meek’ anything to do with buddy! ‘Something not right.’”
Meek later added: “The streets know wassup with me thats not the case….We talking about business side ,somebody powering these bad campaigns [shrug emoji] with ‘meeek mill’ again I got 100k for a thorough investigation of who’s powering and how exactly my name connect to this…”
